What should I be looking for as far as cooling for an i7 920 to get it to 4GHz?

From the test you're looking at, the only way it's applicable is if you're going to lap your cpu as XBit did. Lapping a cpu can and does skew results. As for where to find the coolers, try Jab-Tech, Petra's, Performance PC's, Frozen CPU, and Sidewinder Computers.

Thoughts on Steam's gpu statistics for Sept. 2009

Several NVidia partners discontinue GTX285 & GTX275?

Right......as in how so many of nvidia's GT200 series cards don't compete very well with comparable ATi 4XXX cards, you mean. For instance, given that the 4890 is on average $30 cheaper than the comparable GTX275 and either matches its performance or beats it over and over and over in game...

New CM Storm Scout case - window case fan issue

I've seen that "grille" style on that case window, and other CM products, and it's hella restrictive, which is what is causing the noise you're hearing. But pretty much any fan facing that much restriction will increase its noise generation when trying to blow through that horridly designed...

WATER COOLERS! What kinds of fittings/clamps/tubing do you use?
