I've been away as work has been demanding lately. So, again, thanks to Kaido. I have a very easy to make hackintosh. Damn easy. A talented person on ISM has posted HDA kexts so now I get 5.1 out of SPDIF! I have nothing else I need at the moment, but I'll take audio over HDMI when it comes. ;)...

Yeah, I had hopes for the E7AUM, and others got it working well enough, but not me. I can't express how much easier the Asus was in this case.

Audio works, but only 2-channel (at the moment), networking works, and the onboard video works with NVkush. The 10.5.5 installation dvd plus the usual scripts just worked on this thing so fast. It was amazing. Some people are working on 5.1 sound, which is all I need really.

I received the USB w/SATA enclosure and cloning didn't work. I did a brand new install and somethings improved, others got worse. Plus side: Wireless works perfectly. Reboot and shutdown too. Negative side: NVkush won't install. Starting over again tonight.

Thanks Mosslak! I am deep into it again. It dawned on me that I could simply install 10.5.5 from the 1st partition. So I did. Still *isn't* bootable. WTF? Seriously... Now I am scratching my head why my FAT32 formatted USB stick won't recognized on boot by the board! I am trying to update...

Mshan- Nice find, if it works. I bought a D-link for $20 off Newegg. I found that the Chinese have discovered Ebay and we are (mostly) benefiting from it. I'll keep that in mind for the next build.

I read on their forums that they are working on Netflix. Boxee has that feature and I guess they are competitive. If I could somehow integrate my Directv box too that would be amazing. I don't know if that is possible. My projector has every input imaginable, but we'll see what is available...
