As a professional, I think Memorex is TERRIBLE. When Sam's Club switched to it I tried it. Horrible. I'm still trying to get rid of that stock when I want to see something on TV and record it, watch it, and then throw the disc away. It won't work in a year anyway. Just buy the remaining stock of...
that's good to hear about TDKs. Perhaps they're made by one of the better companies. I have a hard time trusting anything else other than JVC/Taiyo Yuden pro-line though.
I tried silver inkjet printable discs once and went back to white inkjet printables. Silver was a nice effect, sort of like printing on glass or something. It was kind of translucent. But like a previous poster said, it smeared a lot easier I think. And the images weren't nearly as defined, more...
I wouldn't trust Memorex blank media. Their dvd-rs are sub-mediocre at best. I'm trying to get through a stack using them on totally unimportant uses and erase my memory of my mistake of buying them because Sam's Club no longer carries Verbatim.
Nice! I got this same monitor a week or so ago on CompUsa.com Doesn't look like they have it there now unfortunately. Maybe Tigerdirect.com or CircuitCity.com? But I got it for 139 I believe, free shipping, but with like 10 percent off with Bing.com cashback. So far I really like the monitor and...
Way too bizarre that they aren't putting DVI connectors in.
It's like, let's pretend that we're making monitors 5 years ago! It's not 2010! Technology hasn't progressed in the past few years! TV hasn't switched to High Definition yet, so why should our monitors?!
I've been seeing a lot of refurb seagate drives for sale in the past year or so. Don't know why. I'm curious also whose parts and tech were used when Maxtor and Seagate combined. Knock on wood, my 80GB and 120GB 6-7 year old editing system hard drives are still churning. I know, I know, I've...
This is the best price I've seen for a 22" 1080P monitor!
I'd buy one if I had the money! I'll probably need one this size some time.
I think it's a great size and would be perfect for hooking up an HD cable box for a bedroom. or like me, for a second or third computer monitor for video...
I use value line almost all the time. I had a bad batch once where a couple out of the 100 pack may have been bad. But 99.9 percent or higher of the time they are fine.
I did run into an issue once where they started putting higher speed discs into the value line and my older dvd burner...
Whoa! Hold your horses!
Supermedia store usually has a great deal for black friday if you buy in bulk like I do. Last year I bought 600 for cheaper I think.
That projector looks like junk to me! Not much specs given, but 1000 lamp life hours? Infocus projectors usually have 3000 or 4000. Plus I've never seen that projector before!
I'd love to find one of these that records anamorphic widescreen. It'll record a widescreen TV signal and you can play it back in a normal dvd player and a 4:3 older TV in letterboxed widescreen or on a 16:9 widescreen TV without black bars. I know I've seen at least one model with this...
I've always gotten stuff like that off of ebay for that reason. I've always frowned on flat shipping costs for such small stuff.
Also, I've built a few computers, but I had a big gap in building them between Pentium 4 486 processors and newer core 2 processors. The latter all seem to now...
Felt I needed to comment on this case. Bought one for my brother, not from antec, but off ebay. The double hinge door design is terrible. It needs much stronger hinge pins. If you order it, EXPECT that the thin plastic knubs that hold both the door and the hinge onto the case are going to break...
