I have this camera for awhile now, it's ok on day time shots, but anything I take inside or in medium light and the flash kicks in, which kinda sucks as the subject is overexposed.
Hey guys with my system (see below) I can play gta3 at 1024x768 nicely, but anything higher results in slow downs. If I upgrade my gf2 gts to a gf4 4200 would I be able to play at 1600x1200 on my monitor ?
Hey guys I have a raid 0 setup with 2 maxtor 7200rpm ide's. Performance is good, but it's not what I was expecting vs a single 7200 drive.
What type of performance boost would I see with the scsi and 15,000rpm fujitsu drive ??
Would it be worth the money to upgrade ?
IAHK, thanks man.
I was also considering the Lasonic one before I saw this. Is the car adapter on the Lasonic a regular 12v adapter with a plug at the end ? or does it have a external regular ?
Hawk, but isn't a car batter rated usually at 50-60 amps ??. The adapter the unit comes with...
Hey guys I picked one up and wanted to use it in my car. I have a 12v dc car adapter with the right connector to fit this player. My car adapter however doesn't mention how many milliamps it provides ?, would I be able to use this ?. All it says is that it has a built in fuse ?.
Ps : Atrac...
Woohoo just got mine today also. Came via fedex. Nice blower/vaccum for the money. Very good quality and lots of attachments.
I ordered on 4/26 in the morning.
On my last system I had a 533A @ 900mhz Celeron fc-pga with MSi slocket. When I first had built it, the machine had a 450mhz. The performance jump from 450 to 900mhz was really noticable. You should be easily able to get a fcpga c2 and slocket for under $80
Yeah those are the temp's I'm getting also. I'm using as3 with the stock hsf just like you :).
MBM works with the 845 nicely. Once you install it go to the setting screen a pick the right sensor's to monitor. It's a very accurate program. It reports what I see in Bios...
Hmm well I'm at 2.5 ghz with a enermax 300w ps, so that's not holding you back. My cpu temp's are kinda high also, 58-59c under full load in prime 95. Then again I have no case fans, just the cpu and ps fans running (nice an quiet). The system is completely stable under prime 95 even with the...
I wouldn't worry about those temps. I have a 1.8a @ 2.5 ghz and my idle case temp is 38c and 41-42c with prime. I have no case fans. Just the stock hsf and my p/s. The system is quiet and 100% stable...
I have the same combo as you (except I'm using Samsung 2700 DDR) and am running at 139mhz fsb. Fastest memory settings (cl 2, etc). So far I love this board, stable as a rock, no reboot problems. But I have heard that other 845 owners have had reboot problems. Try the msi forum also for some...
Well try with 1 stick of ram... or have you tried that already ?. Generally more sticks leads to less stability. If that and a new ps don't help, then it's your chip :).
Well I'm at the magical 2.5ghz mark. Using the stock hsf combo w/ artic silver 3. I'm using a 300w enermax ps. I think the problem sounds like your power supply. On my MSi 845 ARU (great mobo btw) according to mbm my voltage never drops below 12.0v . Usally it's around 12.1v.
I havn't tried...
If you are gonna oc, then your better of removing the pad now while it hasn't melted. At this stage it's much easier to take out. I did mine and applied some artic silver 3. Seems to be working ok ( still breaking the cpu in ).
Well it's not a 1.6a, but close enough :)
MSi 845 ARU
1.8a running at 2.52Ghz (stable)
139mhz
1:1 with samsung 2700 ddr (fastest timings possible in bios).
1.65v
45C Idle / 60C 100% load - stock hsf
Temp's high probably cause I have no case fans, but the system is quiet :).
