Are there any Mini PC systems with Dual Video Cards?

Put a AGP videocard in SN41G2 will automatically disable IGP.. but I suppose it *might* be possible to use a PCI videocard as secondary.

Program that can turn a HD on and off?

I'm looking for the EXACT same software either... I've been doing some searching for a few days. so far no luck. There's an old program called HDSleep, but it doesn't seem to work under 2K.. and the author's website is long gone.. so if anyone knows such a solution, please let us know!

Any other SFF owners?

I just built a SN41G2 as well.. it's going to be my gaming box and media center. I have a problem with the onboard audio though. the line-in volume (rear jack, share with rear speaker) is very low.. and I am trying to determine if it's a driver issue or it's a hardware issue..

Only 1/2 my RAM being detected

32x8 means how the RAM CELLs were arranged (inside the RAM chip). older MB chipset can not take this kind of arrangement (they were used to 16x16 or 16x8). so naturally only half of your memory is recognzied, because they can not address the other half. so what you can do is looking for...

The "Official" MSI K7N420 Thread (nForce 420 chipset)

with only 2 drives, your only choice is either RAID 0 or RAID 1. unfortuantely, neither offer a good price/performance/safety option.

Best MP3 Player?

Audiocatalyst's codec IMHO is way too outdated, but if you can't tell the difference, it's fine. personanlly I use LAME as the defacto codec for encoding, alone with EAC for ripping.

Who's using Netscape 6.1?

I'm using Mozilla 0.9.4 as well.. although I'm still using Opera 5.12 as my main browser. but Mozilla can handle multi-language fairly well. Opera doesn't have such features.

I think my IBM 75GXP is dying on me ..

the noice is not normal, DFT will not detect ALL errors, especially those that's sporatic/intermitten problems. you can RMA it without DFT test log (since the test states okay.) my first 30GB 75GXP has the exact same problem... first the noice, then the drive start locking up once in a...

Problem connecting via modem - Error 629 - what is it???

unfortunately Error 629 is just a general error associate with dialup.. there's just way too many errors that'll results on the 629 error, but the associated error message is different. So if you can tell us what's the error message, maybe someone will know..

KDS AV-195TF uses Sony FD Trinitron tube, which I think is the best tube for the class. the image is better then 955DF (it's in the class with 900NF).

IBM supermonitor has so high resolution, Windows can't handle it!!!

not just the monitor, but you'll need a capable videocard. 9M pixels at 24bit color will use up approx 27MB of RAM, and you'll need another 27MB for double buffering.. and you'll need more for texture and other 3D related functions...

There's 80188 as well. 80486 doesn't have a *duel* 386 core. but it did have a build in FPU, elimnate the need for a seperate math coprocessor since the first gen days. and it's the first one have the L1 cache if my memory serves me. and of course, there's a ton of other producer doing all...

Win XP's Smart Tags is history, for now...

Which router do you recommend?

My personal choice will be either SMC or Netgear/Zyxel. SMC has slightly more feature, but Netgear/Zyxel is just as good... (and Netgear has a metal casing :D)

Does the temperature rise also in your P3 system? check your CPU usage. The problem is probably on the software in addition to your modem. since the software is in *answering mode*, it is probably using a lot of CPU resource to poll the modem and other functions, and the software modem is...
