i can understand the mods being tired of the fighting in BD threads and having to locked them, but this isnt what seems to be going on here, every single post about questioning this new NDA rule has been deleted with in seconds of being posted,i just hope they didnt sell their...
them mods seem to be under new management?they should at least make a thread about changing the site to its new name "AMDoverclock.net" to inform everyone who doesnt know?

ok thanks.ill be installing windows 7 and when i do the install
i will just let windows 7 create my partition by clicking the C
button and when it shows the full amount i can use of my 128GB
drive i will just select that size and then install windows 7.
thank you guys for your help.
quick question for you guys.i have a corsair 128GB SSD and its has an installation of windows 7 on it.but i need to do a reinstall.so can i just do a reinstall like i would normally do with a regular HD?i mean,is there anything i need to do besides start my new install and with the win7 disc and...
dont misunderstand me guys.i know what these awesome thubans can do.they are great clockers from what ive seen, doing above 4.Ghz with 6 cores none the less!!!!.
im just saying like the XS's thread a little screenshot with some proof would be great.
Markfw900,yea i saw your SS's,very nice
you wouldnt believe what some people will post just for e-peen.you should want an accurate representation of what the thuban can actually do.otherwise your going to have a lot of disappointed users dumbfounded at why they cant run 4.2Ghz on air stable.
there really should be some screenshots for proof.like at XS's they have categories for stable, unstable, untested.otherwise this is pretty useless.anyone can just post anything they want, and they dont even have to own a thuban.just a thought.
4.6Ghz is not optimistic.it is easy as pie.all three of my i3-530's did well over 4.6Ghz.
in fact they did 4.7Ghz with HT on and higher.but you are right about them being fragile.
a lot of them have been killed by vcore above 1.55v.
one thing about the 32nm dual cores is they are about the...
please read what im asking.i said nothing about which models were being compared.
im not asking anything about prices either.i just wanted to know why they were OCed
to different speeds for the comparison, and i already got an answer that explained why
and i fully understand.i swing both ways...
nothing,i was just asking why its 4.3ghz vs 4.2Ghz thats all.thats not really the proper way to compare things.should be 4.3ghz vs 4.3ghz.but i understand that apocalypse had to use data that he had, and compare it to richierich's data
with the UD3R you can also do 7x500@3500 and if you get some good memory2x1GB d9's you can run cpu@3500 and memory@1200MHz.the UD3' are great at clocking quads at high fsb.but since you already ordered the ram it will depend.even with your new kit you could still do 7x500@3500 ddr1000,that would...
until next tuesday.apparently theres a new game coming out that wont work on any of the current cpu's out today.intel and amd are working on it.JK.but seriously you should be good for a few years.
