I have OCed my Q6600 to 3ghz on 1.331vcore. Only other voltages I have changed is RAM to 1.9v, My system passed 10 hours Prime95 and an hour of OCCT Linpack so I would think its stable. My temps at idle are around 24C which is also ok. Only issue is when I do a cold boot, the system will...

i now am at 3ghz with everythin on normal volts apart from vcore @ 1.331.
passed an hour of prime small ftfs. Will try overnight prime to see if its stable.
max temps were 50c at load during Prime.

well the ones on the xigmatek s1283 are quite bad. They bent after one install, now Im not sure if I applied too much force but otherwise it would not click in place. I prefer the old AMD Athalon heatsink installs.

and yeh those look like TN panels.
You wont find as cheap IPS or S-IPS. If your looking to watch dvds then for a price of a good 24" IPS panel u can just buy a LCD TV which has DVI input if u wanted to use it for PC too.

I know a better mouse is a must for FPS games and I play them the most.
The mouse is a LX7 with a 1100DPI which aint as bad as some of those 800dpi mouses I seen.
The Q6600 is the newer SLACR model which runs with less power and I paid £130 while the Q8300 was £160 and Q9400 = £186 which is over me budget. So just went with the Q6600. Just hope it can get to 3.4ghz.
And yeh I meant the 650TX. The 620HX was a £10 more so used that £10 to get a BFX 260...

yeh I want the higher psu for future upgrades.
the RAM price diff wont be too much so might get Coasir XMS2 instead.
The 275 prices are a bit too much atm and the HD I will change.
