    simple, been a fan of 3DFX. now nvidia. I find drivers for nvidia more comfortable than what AMD has. been a user for AMD until cypress and switched over to fermi and never looked back.

    woah, that is weird. Here in my country the MSI is more expensive by $40 equivalent which is pretty ridiculous as the G1 should be the one that is expensive due to it simply having "binned chips". Try to look on other brands like Palit, Zotac or EVGA.

    hmmm, well i am seeing a lot of zotac amp extreme 980s and gigabyte g1 980s that go almost all the time above 1530mhz, others can run stock voltages above 1550mhz like my friend does that's why I envy him so much.

    Good for you if you can go to 1530 at stock voltages. My card has a 76.5 asic but overclocks like shit. Only achieving 1433mhz at stock voltages. So I flashed it and made the voltage go to 1.281v to 1.3v with 1506mhz.

    Yes, that is why we are all waiting for the release and to see how well this GM206 performs. Maxwell's real value for me would be its efficiency. That lowered power consumption is a great deal specially I live in a country which is on the top 5 of the world's most expensive electric bill.

    yeah i thought it was my overclock too but no. my brothers and me have been playing all day and switch persons on the pc and after 24 hours of non-stop gaming, no BSOD after reverting to the 344.16 WHQL. I got so scared when I thought that the processor or motherboard might be the culprit.

    I just figured out that different 970s have different tdp limits that can be set. I can set mine at 110% and I use GPUz while checking the core clock speed and boost speed while upping on the MSI AB.
