Does a 90 degree Displayport cable exist?

Thanks I noticed that one but the problem is it still sticks out like two inches. I need one that makes an immediate 90 degree turn so it doesn't stick out into the wall. Stupid Displayport!!!

In other words, one that plugs into the port and then immediately takes a 90 degree turn downward. I need one to mount my monitor flush to the wall... But as far as I can tell nobody makes such a cable. That's crazy!!!

Clarkson suspended from Top Gear, new episode postponed

The show has become a little stale of late. It would be great timing for them all to leave the BBC and start a new car show together. They're still good just need to reinvent themselves and take a new direction, while keeping what works (basically the chemistry between the three hosts).

That's a good point on timing. I bet these low gas prices aren't helping my cause either. Since it doesn't seem to snow in Tahoe anymore, I guess the 4x4 is not a big deal.

Program to keep my external hard drive from sleeping

Yeah Windows setting doesn't work, and they are Hitachi drives. One idea I had was to connect a bit torrent client that drive and share a file to keep the drive active. Not my preferred solution though.

Why do all bmw's look the same?

And in my opinion they succeed in that. It's true the cars got bigger in recent years, but they still had the best engines. And now with the new 2 series they have the best handling again.

Let's talk about class A motorhomes.

The only place you're going to be paying $3,500 a month in rent is San Francisco, and you're not going to be parking an RV in a similar location there. Oakland and plenty of surrounding places would be $2,000 a month for a nice 2BR apartment. I don't think you will match that with an RV.

I just bought a 2nd Gen Nexus 7 to use as a GPS. You can't really compete with a satellite view from Google maps when it comes to a GPS. Also Waze is a pretty fun GPS to use. I love marking cop cars on there. I bought the version with 4G for $200. It cost another $10 a month to add the data plan...

pls share if you've ever had a jack stand fail

Search the internet it happens. It's why I use 12 ton stands. More for the stability than anything. They are about 5x bigger than 3 ton stands.
