Actually I just did a quick test and the 800RPM, just like it says, moves less air than that the SFF21E, but is way quieter. The Medium Speed SlipStream is slightly louder than the SFF21E, but moves more air. There are other fans like Noctua and SilenX that are really good as well, but they...

High temps with TRUE 120 and stock 920?

You can use the chassis fan, or if you prefer to keep it on a single header, you can use a 3-pin Y-Adapter If you are using a PWM fan, or want to change to PWM fans, you can use a 4-Pin PWM Y-Adapter If you are going to be controlling your fan speeds with a program I'd probably keep the...

High temps with TRUE 120 and stock 920?

If you get a second fan later, make sure they both blow the same way. You don't want two fans blowing against each other.

Highest cfm 120mm fans, value most important

Can't beat Delta when you're looking for high CFM fans aka blowdryers. By the way, watch your fingers if your have them on. Getting hit at 4000rpm is no joke.

I'd go with the low noise SlipStreams instead of the SFF21E. That fan is pretty old now and newer fans can provide more airflow with less noise. Scythe 120mm SlipStream The main different is the blade design and smaller rotor hub. I've put them right next to each other and the SlipStream...

    Tailless 120mm Fans

If you have extra fans you don't use you can just cut the connectors off and solder to that.

    CPU Heatsink Cleaning Advice Needed

Oh, I see. It's the fins you are cleaning, not the base. Then yea, if it's that dirty maybe soak it in some soapy water and use high pressure water to spray it out if you can or just rinse a few times. I would dry it right away with a blow dryer to make sure rust doesn't build up. Make sure the...

Does more fans means more noise?

Good eyes! Those fans ARE both blowing into the heatsink and that is NOT good. You are causing air to be trapped inside of the heatsink, causing excessive pressure and turbulence. I would turn that fan around right away. You should get some considerably lower temps, especially on load.

    How to install case window?

Don't start with the actual outline of the window. Try cutting somewhere in the middle that's going to be scrap anyways. This way you can see how the cut will turn out and and you can adjust accordingly or maybe go buy a new blade in yours isn't working well. It you have a coarse blade meant for...

    CPU Heatsink Cleaning Advice Needed

Just to be safe I wouldn't "soak it" in anything. You can try Arctic Silver's ArctiClean: http://www.svc.com/acclean-60ml.html Put a few drops on the surface, tilt the CPU around to get the whole surface covered, and let it sit for a few minutes. You'll even notice right away that the...

Does more fans means more noise?

Yes, more fans is more noise. However, if you want to quiet your case, you'll want to start with the loudest fans first as they'll make the biggest difference. I suggest getting a few of these Cooler Master fans as they are pretty cheap and very quiet: http://www.svc.com/200007680.html For...

    Cable management...

Depends on your power supply. Fans don't really draw that much power so if you are connecting a bunch of fans together, I wouldn't worry about it. If you power supply is single rail, then it doesn't matter at all since everything is being powered through a single rail. For multiple rails...

    More than one CPU fan?

You can connect 2 3-pin fans to one 3-pin header with this: http://www.svc.com/3pinyadapter.html If your CPU fan has 4-pins, that means it has PWM function. (No worries though, you can plug the 3-pin fan right on in. You just can use the PWM function.)

Looking for quiet fans the move a good amount of air

Well if you don't individual control for each fan, you can use this: PWM Y-Adapter Cable For the criteria mentioned by the OP, I would also recommend Noctua. I have tested many many fans and they seem pretty solid compared to the rest. The build quality is definitely far better than the...
