as you can read above, i'v tried to get 4 gb of kingston memory to work, but it didn't. Now i'v got me some OCZ reaper memory, 2x 2gb dimm's, cl4 800, a matching pair. Trouble is, only one works at the same time. I think, as i'm just an hobby'ist, i'm doing something wrong. I got 4gb to work...

tried your suggestions, Hlafordlaes, but didn't work. thanks anyway. Have to try a maching pair of dimms.

just tried 4gb with high voltage, nothing, tried it with 266, nothing, tried it with 266 and cl5, nothing. now im checking the other dimm, works fine alone (2gb), at cl4 with high voltage and 333mhz.

thanks, e7600 works fine! It feels faster than the 4700. Had already tried 266, didn't work either. By the way, my ram dims are not from the same batch, but do have similar specs.

Hi, i'm a new member too! Trying to read up in this topic, it's a lot. I own an 4coredual for a year now, had it running with 2gb and a e4600 (this was an 2600Mhz with 800fsb). I thought it was time to upgrade and use the whole 1066mh the mobo could give, so i bought a e7600, which works...
