Looking for a decent Case for a starter WC loop. Currently have a 900 so I need a case that has WC in mind or one I can mod out without too many hassles. Trying to stay below $100, but I have yet found a case that doesn't need a good amount of mod work.
Any ideas are helpful, and I am not...
Have to look into another tower then for this WC build.. the 800d is awesome but I dont want to spend that kind of money for a case and not for the WC parts.
Starting something new is always a pain lol.
The fan does have the mounting screws on the bottom, inside the case so its possible to do it i think. Thinking of using it to pull air thru the rad? then it blows heat into the case, although i suppose it wouldn't be too high in temps. the 3 120's should be able to vent it out ok.
Been a WoW player since it was in Beta. Been a long 5 years and it is now starting to bore me, like many others I know. Hopefully the new content won't totally wreck the world and add more boredom in the weeks that follow it.

If I top mount the rad won't it be a mounting issue since i use the 902? the 200 fan on top would vent the hot air from the case right into the rad also.. guess you were right about the case not being water friendly Aigo.
I knew it was missing a few parts when I posted those so I was looking for the fill-ins like you posted.
Which would be easier for me to use at my experience level.. T or a Res? I do like the look of that Res combo

After reading this I was wondering if that would be a good cooler for my CPU. I could vent it out since I have a good amount of air flow in the case, or would I need to duct it or vent it some other way?
Anyone else running this board? Myself and Daw123 are the only ones I have seen with it. I am curious to know what kind of settings you can push on Air cooling. Anything is helpful as I am just hunting for information.

Yes I don't mind adding the Radiator to the back of the case. I was thinking of using the parts i listed in a previous post... Water Cooling Issue is topic.
Those looked , to me, to be good parts for a setup.. Edit those or delete them all if you think they are decent enough parts.
Budget wise its not that important.. Since I am just starting out . around $400 or so i'd say.. I don't want the cheapest out there but I don't want to go all out on the first attempt. As far as Parts you mean the CPU and GPU, yes they are in my sig.

Just a small update.. Running the Win7 RC I had to reset my clock to base 133.. WIN didn't like it. Ramped it again yesterday and so far WIN has accepted the marginal OC at 140.
Still looking into a WC system for this thing but still up to my neck in reading about it. Anyone else out there...
So its possible to use the parts i listed with an external res to cool the components, like the one in the First pic Daw123 listed.
From the pics it doesnt look all that cramped or a difficult layout.

Hey AdamK47, not sure if its even sold anymore but you could add in HELLFIRE, its the Expansion for the first Diablo. Think it brings in the Monk or Druid class to the game.
Battletech led to the Mechwarrior series. Both were tabletop RPG's back in the day.. yes I played them and yes I am a bit older. Mechwarrior 3 was , IMO, the best of the game series. As MW4 changed the Mech configurations to a set layout it took away from the actual configurations of Mechs...
Most recent is F7 BIOS. I updated mine due to not being able to boot with a higher than default Base Clock. Runs good for me now at 140 instead of default 133.
I use the Antec 900 and like it very much.. good amount of space and great airflow. It doesn't come with filters but, as was mentioned , you can buy some to add in.
I dropped a Radeon 3850 AGP into my old Athlon XP 3.0.. works like a charm but the CPU can't keep pace with the GPU =(

Running at Base Clock 140mhz, with the Memory EMP profile loaded. So far so good but i think Temps are going to be a problem. Looking into doing a Water cooling system, but i am researching it as i am new to doing it.
Can't really tell with the large addon fin cooler for it.. may just skip the NB and cool the CPU and GPU's.
From the Photo on their Website.. it looks like it can be removed but I may run into the problem of mounting a new one. I'd have to rely on the mounting holes lining up and chances are...
