Wireless unstable at specific hour of the day.

Awesome idea, I'll try that next time I get latency issues. Getting the tower all the way to the second floor isn't ideal so this solution seems like the most hassle free. Thanks.

CAPS lock light turning on when computer is off

Be sure its not because your Motherboard is activelly waiting for a power on keyboard event. Most motherboard from the past couple of years have that feature.

How do I apply thermal paste to Phenom II X3 720

It has more to do with the HSF solution you are using. If you are using stock cooling solution, then yeah a small pea in the middle is the way to go.

Worst Graphics Card Purchases

Worst purchase would have to be the FX-5600. I could have gotten an ATI 9600pro back then but chose to give my money to Nvidia because their previous generation had been exellent. Its almost a tie with the BFG 8800GT OC first cooling generation. Exellent chip in ONE OF THE WORST COOLING...

Yeah, that is what I would suggest. Better safe then sorry. You don't have to go to the extent of using driver cleaner or safe mode and any such nonsense anymore tho.

I will give it a shot on Windows 7 64bit. I had problem with the pevious one alt-tabing in D3D games. Took forever to alt-tab back. Hope they resolved that small problem.

does anyone have a Xigmatek S1283 HSF and a Gigabyte P45 UD3 mb and tall RAM?
