I'm so screwed...

I checked, but .exe wasn't listed unfortunately. I resoted to the repair function on the install disk, which did the trick and all's well again. Cheers anyway though mate.

I find this one to be just as good, or better, since it'll give you the 12V requirement as well. For free. Seems to be at least as accurate as well.

I'm just wondering, purely hypothetically, if a modern gfx card (say an 8800GTX) would actually suffer any performance degradation if installed in an x8 slot? Do they actually require faster than a 2GB/sec link? Anyone tried or know for sure?

Can't play streaming mpegs after installing DX9

I've just imaged my XP partition onto a SCSI drive, which apprently went fine. However, I am now unable to boot all the way into windows UNLESS the original IDE drive ia also connected to the system. If it is not, the boot screen stops just before the welcome message, refusing to go any further...

I use a TDK Cyclone because it looks better in my case, but if I were you I'd get a 40X Lite-On, which can be transformed into a 48X simply by flashing it with the 48X firmware. Agrippa

Best PSU for 10 HD's ?

Either Enermax will do nicely. Have a llok at my rig - all that stuff used to be powered by a 350W Enermax before i got the 530W model. Never had any hitches. Agrippa
