Asus M2A-VM (Socket AM2)

I have this motherboard currently with a AMD Athlon X2 4800+ processor. Can the processor be upgraded to say a 3ghz like AMD athlong X2 6000+ or say a AMD Phenom X4 ? or is their a limit on what can be upgraded?

But if its not authorized dealers, then its 3rd party sellers, which they strictly told me is not covered by warranty since it was Ebay, FYI the card was brand new when i got it off ebay, wasnt a used one, it was a reseller who bought many of the cards to grab the game that came with it, which...

Which they cannot enforce if authorized dealers sell on auction sites. some places that is not authorized dealers are wholesalers who sell them, again we talk about trade laws being violated, but at the same time much of their fine print cannot be enforced due to how many of the EVGA items is...

Yeah it is, but since you obviously deal alot with EVGA, they didnt ignore you or try to brush you off since you did alot of business with them. But BUSINESSES HAVE GUIDELINES AND LAWS TO FOLLOW

But it goes a little beyond that. lets just scrap out Ebay or any seller from the equation and talk about why the card went bad in the first place. Thats Nvidias fabulous 190.38 drivers. The number of people with similar problems since installing those drivers is by the dump truck load...

its more complicated then that though. I am not even sure if they say its not transferable, but one thing people have to realize with many corporations is that the terms of use, the fine print, much of it is illegal, when you call them out on it, they will be happy to assist you and do...

I got it off Ebay, but alot of the crud they tell you goes against trade laws to, it dont have to be an authorized dealer selling you the card for it to have a valid warranty, its never mattered much with BFG, BFG I gotten a 7800GS replaced, and a FX5200 replaced TWICE with no hassle, no paper...

9800GT vs GTX 260

I dunno if anyone visits techsupportforum and listen to those techs, but they will tell you the 9 series is repackaged 8 series, like 9800 = 8800, 9600 = 8600 and so on. Dont know how true they really are, sometimes wonder if they aint people sent out by companies to advertise their products...

Mostly for information, something I dont really find much on when it comes to RMAs despite I done a few with BFG flawlessly. I even hear EVGA RMA replacements are used, then I hear some people get upgraded items through their RMA also, it seems like one of those companies that chooses...

I know this topic is old. but how did things go? I was a BFG guy myself until it seems most of their products are being replaced on sites and shelves with PNY and EVGA products, got a 8800GTS through EVGA and I got numerous emails trying to RMA that, only to be told the warranty surpassed...
