Opinions on this Intel S2600GL4 dually mobo? $95 OBO.

People used to tweak around here because not all settings are noticeable. Now I guess we just throw money at the problem so we can just set everything to Max and forget it?
Coming from a 770 2GB, the only thing that could maybe get me to bite on a 970 at 1080p is if they start including the...
Um, note "fanless" in the title. Try again.
I'm still cruising along with an E3300 and GT240 combo (obviously not fanless), but will keep this thread in mind for any future upgrades. Amazon's Sliverlight implementation is awfully CPU intensive, so I might have to upgrade soon if I see any more...
I can't raise the voltage on my Zotac (locked by the chip), so this is what I run:
Afterburner says I boost to 1254 in games so I'm not sure what is up with GPU-Z:
I agree with this (and the really cheap SLI 460 option) if you're going to game at 1080p. Just about all of the cards suggested or considered in this thread are 2 years old or rebrands of 2-year-old cards. I'm sorry, but it's a bad idea to plan to keep a card until its tech is 4-5 years old. A...
I say yes. I sold my bottom-of-the-line Sapphire 7950 3L last week on Ebay for $350 and cleared $295.51 after all fees and shipping. Picked up the Zotac GTX 770 for $336 shipped and sold the bundled game vouchers (Splinter Cell Compilation and Batman Arkham Origins) for $21.56 after fees...
No, I much preferred the Greensboro show and they did quiet/loud/quiet to much better effect with Fragility 2.0. It's not just the tempo of the songs that does not mesh, it's the type of music. I've read several reviews and comments on the boards that agree with this in that the Hesitation Marks...
Anyone else go in Raleigh last night? I've seen NIN 5 times (on 5 different tours now) and I think it was the weakest show by far. I know Lights in the Sky is a hard act to follow after 5 years but I was expecting more. The new material just did not meld well with the old stuff and the older...
It's interesting that you see a compilation of the attacks childfree people hear from friends, family and even strangers on a regular basis and consider it an attack on parents because of a silly title. That's really priceless.
The complete failures of humanity are the nosy and rude...
I present to you what it's meant to be childfree and "BINGO"d by the community:

Very annoying and hackneyed at this point.
Just to be a little more constructive, I'm curious as well. My wife has been dealing with this crap in NC for 14 years now. If the state doesn't want its teachers, then so be it. What else is out there with that particular skill set and advanced degree?
I froze the bloated Google Maps on my phone and started using MapQuest. It's a good app that works great with FAST GPS lock without using data (<cough> FU Google). I think sometimes it's a good idea to see what else is out there and I can't be alone.
I would disagree that a powerhouse will not make a difference or would be a poor investment. I went from a GTX 460 1GB to a 7950 for 1600x900 and it has been a massive improvement. I max everything and forget it in every game, which is liberating. I've been pretty shocked at how much VRAM I've...
Same here and I refuse to turn on data location services. I switched to the Mapquest Android app and froze Google Maps. Works great so far and really fast GPS lock.
This is how it was in the 80s and 90s as well in VT/MA. The pitcher, the tablecloths, the 40-min wait for pizza on a Friday. All part of the experience that nobody has the patience for anymore I think.
I've tried the onboard audio on every motherboard I've owned (my current mobo has Realtek ALC892) and the difference with positional audio and sound quality between the onboard flavor of the month and my X-Fi Titanium (and others before it) has been easily noticeable so I've always gone back to...
Never Settle seems to have been quietly discontinued. I managed slip in under the wire with my 7950 and got the bundle but this seems to change the value proposition a bit.
I'm listening to this and it just sounds like a NIN cover band, except when Trent chimes in on the songs. Mariqueen has a nice voice, but there's nothing really special about it. I think I'd still see them live, but only because I have haven't had an NIN fix in 4+ years.
