OK guys, some facts of life:
Big deal or not, Intel, OCZ, Corsair and anybody else using the Samsung controllers in their top of the line SSD's had lost a lot in money and reputacion for lack of propper firmware in their push to rip the benefits for been the first to sell their overpriced...
I changed my mind about buying SSD's now and for $65 I ordered a nice dependable WD Black 640GB for my new rig an when the dust settles and prices make sense, i will invest in a nice SSD.
Let the suckers pay these insane prices and put up with all this nonsense just to gain a few seconds...
Intel shipped some D2's (like to Newegg and maybe some other places) until they discovered the problem with the password reset (big problem, because you loose everything that you have in the unit if you reset the password).
They inmediatly pull them off because of that, and this is problem #1...
Intel is not releasing the G2's because they can't figure out how to make the fimware and they don't want to have the same embarrasing problems they have with the G1's.
The only place you will find the G2's is in Intel warehouses, everybody else..BS..
And they are not alone, other...
