Yeah...I meant Q3F. Back in Quake I days it was called Team Fortress... If you have Q3, get the mod from www.q3f.com and play. It is super fun.

$9.00 NIC at OM, (warm only)

I have a $10 D-Link EZNet that I picked up at egghead a while back. I am not sure if they are still there, but if they are they are good. Wake on LAN, Linux Drivers, etc.. Cheap net cards can be crappy though...I had a one that sucked before I got the D-Link.

Hot Deal On Laptop Backpack $14.99 from The GAP

This bag is phat! I picked mine up for $14.99 online and I am using it as just a regular bag. (I don't have a laptop yet.) Anyways, it has lots of compartments, compression straps, and a waist strap if you need it. Insanely hot deal for $15, IMHO. :)

Acer 640U Scanner for $29.99 at OM

Acer 640U Scanner for $29.99 at OM

Anyone have a link to a review or have some sample images. Is this thing any good? I already have a Visioneer Paperport 6000b parallel, but I really want USB for the speed increase. Parallel is slooow. I don't want to go down in quality though just to get USB :confused:

Not a hot deal but I think it belongs here.....

If there is no price advantage, there is not much of an advantage to online shopping. May as well just go pick it up at the B&M store to get it faster. Unless you live out in the sticks like me...some things such as Best Buy are 45 minutes away....blah. :(

Unfortunately, I am on the East Coast so no Fry's... I saw Tekram has an adaptor on their page for $25 or something, but the motherboard was only $50 so it seems dumb to pay that much for a slotket...especially since Tekram online's shipping is often somewhat high.
