We are all busy. If such is your sentiment then why would you want to blindly follow Lifehacker's guide? Pash really doesn't understand what he's doing, and doesn't explain the rationale behind his choices. Try the ProjectSnow guide but stop after the chameleon 1 (with pc_efi 9)...

Mosslack: Perhaps the DSDT is "unnecessary" but it is an elegant solution for audio, video and ethernet across all Leopard iterations and into SL. It's a kext-less "set it and forget it" situation so far. But if you want kludgey kexts you need to replace with every upgrade, suit yourself...
