I've got an extra P4 2A GHz Socket 478 CPU and I've read you can do a BSEL mod to make it run at 133MHz FSB = 2.66GHz. Whats the chances of this chip not surviving?
I've read the mod herehttp://www.tomshardware.com/fo...hz-dell-dimension-4500
Sweet, thanks guys. Since I need to run Blu-ray and I don't have a SATA port will this device work?

I'm thinking of putting together an ultra cheap HTPC that'll play 1080p with old parts I have. Here is the list.
ECS Motherboard [No Overclocking Options]
2.40GHz Pentium 4 533MHz
1GB DDR RAM
HIS HD3650 AGP - This has UVD+ so it'll offload the 1080p processing, I think
1080p 52" Sharp...
Also, I have a question to the members that OC this board within the BIOS, does this board has SATA corruption? I had a problem with another VIA board not recognizing my DVD drive when I was overclocked.
Hey Guys, I'm new :)
I want to get this motherboard to upgrade from my current Pentium 4 HTPC system, I have a AGP HD3650 I'll use. I'm planning on using a Celeron Dual Core E1500, how well do you guys think it'll OC with this board? Thanks
