Apple gears their products to two completely different groups. It is an obvious point but it should be reiterated, if only because people forget about the second group when discussing Macs.
The first is obviously the consumer (iMacs). People who just want to word process, use the internet, do...
<< Who cares though?
Final Cut Pro is an awful program for editing if you ask me. Adobe Premiere is leagues ahead than that peice of garbage. >>
Sure thing kid, whatever you say... :P
That said, I'm most likely going to be picking up a G5 with Final Cut Pro 3.0 later on this year. I've...
The subject says it all. I'm moving everything over to an MSI nforce mobo this weekend. I still have my GeForce 256 DDR from two years ago. What I need to know is which will give me better performance? The GF2 MX-like performance on the MSI board, or my geforce 256 ddr in the AGP slot?
I'm not...

Have you used the Panaflo L1A or M1A fans?
I have four Papst 8412NGL fans right now (not installed), but I was wondering if I should go with low speed Panaflos instead. It seems you have some experience with both (and the Panaflos seem to push more CFM for the amount of noise they...
I am swapping over to a new mobo (either the Epox 8K7A or MSI K7 Master) very soon.
I need more than two IDE slots because of the number of devices that are in my computer.
Unfortunately the K7 Master only comes in a plain IDE configuration or one with SCSI. The Epox 8K7A with RAID (which...
The title says it all. Best Athlon DDR mobo you guys have had experience with? So far its looking like I'm either going to go with the MSI KT266 or 760 platforms. I hear the IWill is good. I'm not so keen on Asus at the moment.
Thought?
I was wondering if there are any differences between the Sony G400 Trinitron and E400 display aside from the image restoration feature in the G400?
The feature sets on the Sony website appear to be the same. Are there differences in image quality between the two?
Thanks,

Yeah yeah, I know this question never gets asked...
I've ordered a new mobo, high quality ram, parts, etc etc. All I need to order now is an Intel CPU.
I want to hit a gigahertz in speed, but if I can save some cash in the process I'm open to overclocking.
From what I've read so far it seems...
Any speculation as to around when mobos that support DDR RAM for Intel processors will be coming out? Its the difference between my building my new machine this month, or holding off a little bit.
Thx
