Yeah I know, slack manufacturers and their money savings xD
True, kinda like Assassin's Creed on 16:10 had black bars..
This is what I was worried about, if the game developer is slack and lazy then we could have some cropping going on for 16:9 aspect ratio screens.
What do you like better...
That's what I meant, aspect ratio. sorry. Wrote that last reply after just finishing work at 10:30 pm..
What is this 'Field of View' that you and previous posters speak of? I don't think I've ever run into or noticed that setting in the previous games I played.
I'm also considering the 27" new...
But what about the issues like in Far Cry 2 where when you use 16:9 the bottom and top were actually being cut off and looked strange and silly so they needed to patch it.
For Far Cry 2 at least the developers designed it mainly for 16:10.
You guys are kinda missing the point. I know if you...
zerocool84, 16:9 are also cheaper for the manufacturers.
Manufacturers are still making 16:10 like the new Dell U2410 as they know there is still a slight demand. I am still sold on 16:10. Who knows I might wait it out with my trusty 22" and see what new panel tech pops out.
Don't worry about my 8800 guys. By the time I decide on a new monitor I will have a 5850/70 or the 5890? refresh under the hood or maybe even an Nvidia GPU if they're any good when they do get released.
So which monitors would you recommend with 16:10 aspect ratio? I want something bigger than...
Hi everyone, I have been deciding on a new monitor for quite some time now. I originally wanted the Samsung T260 25.5" 16:10 monitor but it is currently unavailable in Australia now so I am looking for something else.
I notice that the market is flooded with 16:9 monitors now which brings...
Nope, you didn't help with anything. By saying 'Intel.' that didn't really help nothing. A forum is where you're supposed to discuss things.
One word answers are left in kindergarten.
Or the DeathAdder v2 with improved 3500dpi Infra-red sensor and better cording (non-laser)
My DeathAdder 1800dpi started playing up on me. I suspect the cording went bad.
Apparently better with low sensitivity gamers who like lifting up their mouse, Infra-red has lower height pick-up so it...
My 'obnoxious behavior' for calling calling out someone who doesn't know how to read properly and at least try to get a idea of the situation and who answers with a single word which is a name of a manufacturer?..
Yeah, alright mate.
Cheers, although it's a bit late now though as I have already sent my money to the etailer.
Did a quick search and nothing came up from any Australian retailer.
Just in-case anyone was wondering. I decided to get the Intel X25-M G2 80GB for $449AUD. A bit of price gouging going on because it is sold out all across Australia but it is the perfect size for my needs and a competitive price compared to the Vertex 60GB at $329AUD anyway if you factor in...
Intel released the G1 back in September 8 2008, the G2 was released on July 22 2009.
So that's 10 1/2 months between the G1 and G2 release. You're looking at June 2010 for the G3 and supply would be low so you will have to wait a few more months for prices to stabilize.
I personally bit the...
Well I firmly stated to give a good reason for the recommendation.
A reply with "Intel." wasn't what I said in the OP, probably was too lazy to read my post that's why.
If I wanted to read a single brand for a recommendation I wouldn't have posted here.
That is also the reason I put up a...
Anand hasn't reviewed the latest OCZ drives and doesn't address the price differences in Australia now does he?
He also stated in his latest article Intel's Write speeds are not acceptable at the moment.
It seems Intel isn't bulletproof as you might think.
It's people like you that doesn't...
Yeah, that's what I thought myself Wendy and GarfieldtheCat, I bet the OCZ and Intel runs similar no one can tell in a blind test as you said.
I only use my PC for watching videos and gaming. Nothing workstation related.
That's why the 'Intel' reply above rubbed me the wrong way. Sounded like...
True, I was hoping someone with experience with the other drives will reply regarding the reliability, firmware updates, satisfaction etc as there doesn't seem to be any SSD related posts on the OCZ forum.
And you did read that Intel is all out of stock in Australia right?
I can't purchase a...
So you guys are suggesting I wait for a drive that is ~$450 and is out of stock til December and it might not even arrive and then my HDD might lose all it's data or die then I'm f*cked.
Also you're suggesting I buy a drive that is way expensive compared to OCZ and is not all that much faster...
Hi guys! I lost about ~9GB of video files from just this one folder last week while watching on MPC using CCCP.
Very strange, I was able to recover 6.67GB back using Recuva and Pandora.
My OS is on a 60GB partition on a Western Digital 750GB Caviar Black. OS is Windows 7 RC.
Anyways, because...
