The Abit BX133

I have feeling the setup is going to be like the Asus P3V4X, in that you can use 133FSB for the CPU and still use 100FSB for the memory and the rest of the buses. This could be how they would get around the ½ AGP divider issue. I would assume their goal is to take advantage of a proven winner...

Cougar, I was hoping your board supported more than 4 IDE channels, like my BE6-II that supports 8, 4 UDMA66/IDE and 4 IDE. Then, you could have put the UDMA66 on it's own channel using that cable and the other stuff on the regular IDE channels. As for the colors, doesn't your M/B manual show...

Yeah Train and every M/B manufacturer who explicitly details how to properly install a UDMA66 cable write that in their manuals just for fun, eh? I think not. ;) Terp is exactly right. Blue in M/B, primary on end (black) and slave in middle. Anybody who says different is dead wrong, IMAO. :)

The 650E has a locked bus multiplier of 6.5. The only way to O/C is to up the bus speed towards 133. Most 650E's will do 865 on a 133FSB. As I am not familiar with your mobo, if it is a BX chipset board you will have an 89MHz AGP @133MHZ so, have a good vid card in there and some PC133 RAM...
