Please Help With Steam Downloads

I'm having the exact same problem... were you able to fix it? edit: fixed it. FYI I went to steampowered.com and reinstalled Steam and now it works. It looks like when I initially installed, the Steam:// protocol was not registered in Windows. Works fine now.

Logitech G5 mouse dimensions

I bought a razer copperhead and the mouse is a little too long to be comfortable so I'm considering a G5. Logitech doesn't list the G5's dimensions anywhere. The Copperhead is 5" long and 1.5" high. Anyone with a G5 know its specs?

9800pro getting 4fps on high in bf2

I'm playing BF2 with a 9800pro (3ghz, 2gb ram). At 1024x768 with everything at medium and AA at 4x it runs very smooth. I'm pretty satisfied. I changed all the settings to high and maxed out the AA but even at 1024x768 I was only getting about 20fps

HOT!!!! Cox High Speed ups speed to 4Mbps/512Kbps

I'm in Northern Virginia and have the COX SOHO service - 4Mbps/1Mbps The upload speed is nice but for $120 it's not really worth it... I only need it for the static ip address. The price/speed Cox is offering is awesome... they used to have a 4mbps/512mbs plan for "gamers" that was $80/month...

How many of you got dead pixels in your spanking new LCD?

Dell UltraSharp 1901FP - 2 dead pixels on arrival and it's replacement has 1 dead pixel that appeared after about a month. I sell a lot of Dell UltraSharps - from 17" to 20" and none of my customers have had any issues... and a Planar 20" that was ok. Me = cursed?

OOS (out of stock) a lot of my customers still use modems - especially the older ones on fixed incomes. if it's not wired through a surge protector, i'll be out there replacing them. cheap modems are always good (especially without MIR).
