<< Kington 64MB Sdram $20.00 - $5 mfg MIR - $15 OfficeMax MIR = $0.00 >>
Where do you get the $20 starting price for the ram? On the ad I see, it shows the price starting out at $34.99
I guess I got my online order in before the AnandTech effect took hold. I checked the order's status today and it says "Shipped" (said "Processing" since Friday). Now I wonder if I will get the rebate back before or after the end of summer....
Well the shipping is free. Also if you order from the website they won't do the pricematch. $18.36 (tax included and after MIR) for a USB scanner isn't bad at all and no waiting in line.
Well my first clue that it is a 40gb drive is that the "40" is next to "GB" in the name. The second clue is found when looking under the technical specifications and it says "Formatted Capacity: 40GB"
"If it sounds too good to be true. . . it probably IS. . . . unless you find it on AnAndTech !!"
Ya and then the company wonders why they got 50,000 orders for something that they haven't sold any of in the past 6 months. When they check, they find a wrong price and cancel everyone's...
I think he actually meant EZNET 16 PORT 10/100 SWITCH. It is $141.95 (and a $40 MIR until 6/30). I would say a 16 port switch for just over $100 after MIR is a pretty good deal.
I usually pick up the 4lb mix of them at Costco for around $12 when I go there. Of course I see nothing wrong with getting a free sample but I'm either late or too early. Maybe I will be on-time someday... ;)
I will not shop Egghead again. I bought a monitor from them with a 3-year warranty (Egghead was supposed to be the one servicing the warranty). When the monitor died 6 months later, Egghead refused to honor their 3-year warranty. I got nowhere with customer service so I reported the matter to...
I don't think it is a good deal at all. I bought the 60GB Maxtor from CompUSA on the 8th and it was just $199 then. It is 5400rpm also. Yes mine is an ATA100 model. I didn't even have to update the drive. I thought I would since it was shown as ATA66 on the box.
:D Why not go to Circuit City and buy the camera (must be yesterday and today for the rebates) and have them pricematch with OfficeMax where the camera is $19.99. Send in the forms for your $35 in rebates. First time I have ever been paid to take a product home with me.
