problems with Alienware system

I build my own. I offered to build one for him, but he's all intent on having one pre-built, etc. he hasn't had luck with custom builds. now it looks like he doesn't have luck with pre-built ones. Anyway, he finally got through to tech support. they are sending a tech to his house to replace...

problems with Alienware system

overvolt:he can't get that far. he told me a little more about the problem. he's now getting a boot device error, and when he goes to the bios setup screen, it doesn't allow him to set the hard drive as 1st boot device. sounds like either the motherboard ide channel is faulty or his hard drive...

Would you rather have a laptop or desktop?

I have a laptop and 4 active desktops. I almost never use the laptop unless I go on vacation... The desktops get used heavily everyday, I prefer my desktops for sheer power and being a bit more flexible than the laptop.

Yes, because generally speaking, nearly 80% of the population have the IQ of a paperweight. The next generation of kids coming up doesn't look much better. I'm not saying that you have to be a member of MENSA or anything, just have some freakin' common sense.

m4h- I NEVER order alcohol in bars/restaurants/public I usually am the one mixing up for friends, so it's in a private environment. I should have mentioned the "signals" for public alcohol consumption... I also collect unique shot glasses as well...I have a few that are quintuple shot glasses...

Also try White Russians, they taste good and aren't too nasty (unless you are lactose intolerant, that could be problematic) Grasshoppers are good too (again lactose intolerance could be deadly) Listen to M4H, big meal, lots of water.

*whenever you are old enough* whatever you do, don't get rot gut liquor, you'll regret it the next day. I'm not saying if you drink vodka, go out and buy Grey Goose, but don't go for cheap stuff either. Woodford Reserve and lemon-lime soda (or coke - NO PEPSI) is good. I like top shelf...

best mixed drink / shooter recipes

tossed salad: in a shot glass (dark colored): 1 part Frangelico 1 part chambord rim the shot glass with hershey's chocolate syrup (make sure the person doing the shot doesn't see it). have a person down the shot without using hands laugh at the person who downs it.

raspberry kamikaze 1 part chambord 1 part vodka 1 part sour mix please, when using sour mix, don't buy that bottled crap. make it fresh, it's cheaper and easy. use fresh limes and lemons and sugar water.
