I just bought the Obi100 from Amazon for 37 bucks and free shipping. I'm going to try it out with Google Voice and if all goes well I'll cancel my Vonage. This purchase will pay for itself in two months. Thank you OP for all the info I have gained from this thread.
Looks like the Les Paul style guitar has a bolt on neck instead of the standard glued and set neck . The Fender style looks like a good deal as long as it has no sharp fret edges, straight neck, properly cut nut, etc.
Looking forward to seeing some reviews.
Mine says delivery 9/19. I'll probably have it by Friday. Thanks Edro for letting us know it came by FedEx. That will help pinpoint the time-frame for me to be home.
This is my first SSD so I am really looking forward to the faster speed of my Win7 boot
drive.
My desktop PC mainboard is only SATA2 so this will be fine for now and much better than my 7200 rpm hard drive. At 46 cents a GB delivered, I couldn't resist. I like the 7mm size also. An ultrabook can only take this size.
Thanks for the heads up RBK
Many times the memory needs a slight voltage tweak or manual settings applied in the BIOS settings. Certain boards are finicky about RAM and need further prodding to behave.
I've had to do it many times. Chances are someone has asked in another forum about your exact board and exact RAM( or...
Mine came today and it has a red LED ( the lanyard through-hole) that stays lit when drive is inserted and flashes when writing.I never noticed that in the item description so it was a nice surprise.Oh, it's fast too.
Thank you tealk for the heads up on this flash drive

Welcome to anandtech Fallen. When I got my first SATA2 the board only saw one stick as well.It was suggested here that some of these boards were known to have bad memory slots and to push down really hard on the stick that wasn't showing up.This reseat procedure might work but not in my case.I...
The Hyper TX2 has only 3 pins so no PWM.This Rosewill has it so it is indeed a good deal considering the Akasa cost 10 bucks more.
Thanks Zap for bringing this little jewel to my attention for the first time.
MSI P35 Neo2-FR got the final nod in Anandtech's Holiday guide over the Gigabyte and Abit although those are in the top three budget boards.
100 clams after $20 rebate. e-sata is a worthy feature for sure.

RON PAUL 2008! as well.
I have a feeling this is for Tampa area pervs only and some of you guys aren't getting diddly. :)
Good thing too; wonder how many trees they would have to cut down from the AnandTech effect so you can sport some wood ?
The ratio just wouldn't be balanced.
This being my first laser printer, I'm no expert, but for my black and white documents it is fantastic.I like the envelope slot very much also.
I got the whole enchilada for less than the cost of the toner so it was a no brainer.I imagine a deal like this will come around once in a while...
I got this exact drive recently for a friend. It is a good drive but needs a firmware upgrade to possibly be great.Drive has been out since June 2007 and still no updated firmware.
This drive is very finicky with certain media and burn speeds. But I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it at all...
Hell just froze over. Finally.I was here when the ban came and I'm still here today.Too many soccor moms posting about JC Penny white sales for me on Chubby Wallet.Anandtech hot deals has always specialized in what I really want deals on mainly-TECHNOLOGY. Amen on the new rule.
