I'll just toss in recommendations for the Yakuza games for adventure games. Tons of sidequests to do, minigames to play, and a pretty decent story.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma is pretty good if you like your games difficult and fast paced.
My favorite pick for handguns in terms of bang for buck has to be the tokarev. They're a ton of fun and pack pretty good punch to go with it. Only problem I had was hammer bite.
For rifles I'd say Mosin if you don't mind bolt action, or an SKS if you want semi-auto.

Got some indy games that need homes:
Naval War - Arctic Circle
Crusader Kings II
Sorry for those that PM'd me, please send me some way to contact you and send the codes, as I don't have 25 posts yet and can't PM back.
I have a Model 795 and it's a great little rifle. If you're looking for 100-rd drums or the like, you won't find it, I think the largest magazine anyone makes for the rifle is the little 10-rd stick. Don't expect to heavily customize, since there isn't a lot of after market support for it...
