I don't know the answer to this question. My understanding is that it is possible to map G13 keys to keyboard keys, and, with the newest drivers, it is possible to emulate a PS3-type controller Analog stick. I don't know if this means I can use the thumb-stick to play Doom3 with WASD...

Thanks for the info. I just realized I am talking about the G13, and you guys are talking about the G15. As of right now I'm leaning toward the G13 because I've heard that driver version 3.0.3 (just released) allows you to change that thumbpad it has into a real console-style analog stick.

Still, mark my words, one day 3D-style controllers will replace at least the keyboard and maybe even the mouse in FPS. I think the main problem today is that these controllers interface as a mouse, not as a gamepad, so it isn't really possible to use them with a mouse. I could be wrong.
