Interesting... I was not aware of that. So although Far Cry 2 says "XP and Vista (only)" [source: http://bit.ly/2BWfpm] it would also work on 7? Thanks for the recommendation on Fallout 3 - I'll have to check it out.

Need a recommendation

So I just assembled a new rig and with Christmas coming up, would like some games that will put it to the test. - Win 7 x64 - AMD Phenom II X4 955 - 80GB SSD - 8 GB RAM - Radeon 4870 vid. card - 21.5" LCD I don't do WoW (well, did, but quit) and prefer FPS; not really into sports games...

Intel X-25M G2 TRIM Firmware RELEASED (02HA)

<noob alert> So I've got a brand new G2 SSD sitting in a box, and a copy of Win7 waiting to install. Do I need to re-install Win7 once I update the FW, or is this all I need to do: 1. Hook-up SSD 2. Install Win7 (XP Pro currently installed) 3. Update FW 4. Good to go?
