I thought I read on here somewhere to not install it and just use whatever Windows 7 64 bit uses instead since the chipset drivers were made for rotational hard drives and not SSD's. Could be wrong but wanted to ask anyway.

Just wondering if I should install the chipset drivers if I'm using Kingson's 40gb SSD drive.
Device Manager can't find the "Mass storage controller" and I'm not sure I should use it or not.

Stick with regular hard drives until Intel finally sorts out it's software problems. Can't download firmware or software right now for your SSD than what's the point buying it?
This is insane. No where on the internet can I download at least an older but stable firmware for my X18-M Gen 1 that I just bought yesterday. I have the 8610 firmware and no way in hell am I dumping my primary OS on it until it gets updated to at least 8820. Where the hell can I download it...
