I'm for homers only. Even in slow motion replays for TV a lot of these plays are way too close to call that I don't blame an umpire if they got it wrong. It'd severely slow the game down I think if it went beyond HRs.

Just curious what people's thoughts are on that? My initial reaction is to think Haysbert is full of himself, but the more I think about it, I think he does make a legitimate statement.

I'd be a bit surprised if Piazza isn't (eventually) inducted. Maybe not on the first ballot, but someone that's a (I believe) 10-time All Star and one of the greatest hitting catchers in history, seems to deserve to be in there.
I think some of the same arguments could be made with regard to marriage. Pretty much anything that takes away any freedoms and independence will be some sort of burden that can result in unhappiness.
Yeah I figured in front would be best. I think I just got suckered into the madness of buying tix as soon as they went on sale. Due to the high volume, all I got available was seats on the side. An hour later, plenty of seats directly in front were available.
