Name: mk52 Bw: 69.85Kg : 154lbs Result: 122.5 : 270lbs Class: 77kg: : 169lbs %ofBody : 175.37% My DL, Squat are pretty average, but bench seems to work with my body type. Was hoping to beat Deeko, but seems like he upped his bench considerably in the past few weeks.

Tips for improving bench press

How tall are you, and how wide is your grip, do you properly arch your back during the BP? I would also second adding OH press work, along with squatting heavy. Before I did my current routine (Stronglifts 5x5, SS), I never cared much for leg workouts or olympic lifts and my bench was stuck...

What's your 1RM on bench (raw) when you don't have to do the competition style pause with the bar on on your chest before you press? I'm curious as to how much of a difference that pause makes.

Can anybody recommend a decent elliptical treadmill?

We got this one from Sole Fitness for $1,299 and are very happy with it. There is just something about having some workout equipment at your house that will give you absolutely NO excuse to skip a session.

I m curious as to whether this only applies to antioxidants taken in the form of pills or as part of your regular diet (i.e. lots of oranges) as well? If it only applies to pills than it must mean the vitamins are either A. different between a pill and an orange or B. absorbed differently by...

Pain in right arm from overhead press

How are you gripping the bar? Pain in the forearm could mean that you are bending your wrist too much and straining your forearm as the weight pulls your wrist down. Check this link for a better explanation

You could always use GTC orders but having triggers does help with more complicated scenarios. TDAmeritrade works pretty well for me in that regard.

It looks like a bad year for skiing so far....

It ain't any better in Europe. I was in Austria over New Years and we had to go above 7000 feet to board as all other resorts in Tyrolia, including Kitzbühel were spring green. The few open glacier resorts (Hintertux and Stuibaital, 10000ft+) were pretty amazing though :)
