weird question about my web hosting FTP

I would contract your webhost provider to look into the issue. Maybe their stat log is messed up or logging the wrong site. Deleting/viewing files over ftp should not use up to 3 gigs of data if your not transferring data.

Configure Network Adapter for Gigabit Network / Jumbo Frames?

If your nic supports jumbo frames you can turn it on under the local area connection properties/configure/advanced settings. If your nic does not support jumbo frames then you can't take advantage of it.

I would consider looking into 5Ghz band or a dual band wireless if possible since you already can detect 8 other wireless networks in your apartment complex. You will run into wireless interference that can degrade the performance or not work properly. you should download netstumbler to detect...

Mac Mini

I have a mac mini and I just use it for movies/music/web browsing thats all. Dont expect to run any hard core gaming... it can prolly get by with WOW but don't expect to run high end graphic settings. for a HTPC it works good but your TV could have some resolutions problems. 1080i doesn't fit...

Yes it is possible to hook up another router to the 2wire router. Just put 2wire to bridge mode if you just want one router to manage.

on the 2wire devices under local network do you see both pc's? to the right of the pc's is there a link for edit firewall settings? perhaps theres something in there you can disable?

If you have windows vista or 7 you will need to redefine the network as a home or work network that way the computers will see eachother in workgroups. try resetup networking if this does not work. otherwise I would call your ISP to have them walk you through setting up 2wire device for home...

Issues with RAID 0 + non-RAID disk with ICH9r

Update your bios? If you can't get into the bios setup... something is weird or messed up with the controller/mb... Once you do get into the bios set the raid card to boot first and make sure the 750 hd is set to last. it seems like your motherboard was trying to boot from sata first instead...

It is fairly easy to do ICS. Just tell the computer which connection you would like to share with. So sharing your EVDO usb connection will work just as fine and faster then sharing your 56k dialup connection. Or I could finally join the router crowd, but then the question becomes, can I reuse...

how many wires are you planning on cabling? If you have more then 5 you could get a 12 port patch panel. That is what I did at my house. All my cable drops go back to a patch panel. Easier to maintain and no need for cables dangling around the wall. You can find cat5 jacks on ebay for cheap...

Have you tried another cable for the WAN port? If you connect the orig router to your new router by the WAN to the LAN does the orig pick up a internal IP address from the new router? If not then I guess that WAN port went bad. You are setup as DHCP correct? reflash the firmware on the orig...
