    Field goals/Extra points: NFL might shorten the distance between the goal posts

    I played for 14 years. But I would totally be for this rule. Maybe make it so they can go up to the 18 yard box without offsides then keep the existing rules for inside the 18 yard box. At least give a bit of assistance to the other team. I also wouldn't mind increasing the goal by 1-2 feet.
