HP laptop blink codes?

Tried both suggestions and no change. I did notice that I was mistaken though. Not all LEDs come on, only the power, wifi module, and trackpad LEDs light up. Caps lock, scroll lock, and sound mute stay off the entire time. It is sounding more and more like a CPU or motherboard issue though...

Yeah, even tried doing a "hard reset" according to their site. Pulled the batter, held power for 30 seconds, put battery back in, plugged into AC. Same thing.

It keeps going back and forth from Notify Me to Add to Cart. But when you add to cart the next page says your card is empty. Must be a very limited release. Probably only a couple thousand units per country.

So what is wrong with the Nexus 4?

I'm 90% certain I recall seeing similar benchmark issues with the Nexus 10 on a couple sites. That is to say severely under performing compared to rival tablets that it SHOULD blow out of the water. Can't spend the time to find these articles at the moment though so take that for what it's worth.

Was there a reason given for why the Nexus 7 uses a phone-styled launcher rather than a tablet layout? Seems like a waste of space. I've always been partial to the tablet layout though, so I may be biased.

The 8GB thing just boggles the mind. I don't understand it at all. Memory is so dirt cheap these days. Why choose that to cut corners on? Even if you want to stream all of your music and video, 8GB is just not enough.

Uh oh...Japanese carrier in advanced talks to buy Sprint

I seem to recall reading in another thread that Japanese cellular users deal with some of the worst plans in the world. More restrictive/more expensive than ours even. At any rate, it really was just a matter of time. Sprint hasn't managed to stay competitive. I was with them for two years...

Definitely a last-gen (maybe two back) phone, but my OG Evo 4G was far more stable with CM7 than it was with stock Sense ROM. That's where I'm coming from with my argument. Both phones I've used so far have been better with CM.

I wasn't aware of that as I don't own one. So he won't be able to get the most recent hardware with stable third party ROMs right out of the gate. That's to be expected actually. There are other Android phones out there with still decent specs that DO have very stable vanilla ROMs.

This is patently false. ROMs like Cyanogenmod and AOKP are known to be far more stable and much faster than carrier releases. You really should try CM10 on an S3 before condemning Android completely. I'm running it on my Galaxy Nexus and it's rock solid. And this is a nightly build, not...

It's really not. Even if what he says is the case and the chip is for reversing the pin out, I'd still rather pay $1.25 for a cable that I have to plug in correctly than $30 (or however much they sell them for) to get a reversible one. Personal preference is all.

B&N unveils the Nook HD&HD+: Outspecs the Kindle HDs

B&N continues to make awesome hardware. I've been nothing but impressed with my two Nooks (the original and the Simple Touch) in terms of build quality and feel. They really need to do something about the software side though.
