I agree with you. I sent one back for having a couple of dead pixels and one stuck pixel. The stuck pixel wasn't really that bad. I could have lived with that. The two dead pixels right next to eachother in the right center of the monitor bothered me much more.
Can't imagine that would be...
And laptops are designed around a certain tdp. Its not like a desktop card where you can tweak the cooling. The laptop is designed around a certain spec. Look at the xbox 360 as an example of a gpu running too hot.
Just watching some videos of the old 29" 1080p 21:9 displays made me want one. I always said that I would make the move if someone would release one with the height of a 1440p display. I made the move and it was well worth it.
There is a program that you can take a picture of to prove that it works for sure. Well thats if if you have a really good camera.
You should be able to just move the mouse cursor around or a window to see if its as smooth. It should be obvious. The two that I have used skip frames....
IDK, I saw two people claiming that their dell overclocks to 75hz in the other thread.....
Yeah, the two that I used did two but skips frames...
Haven't seen any reports on the rather large [H] thread that either model will oc past 60 either.
The op is correct the LG and dell should oc to...
IDK, the game has always run fine for me on Nvidia hardware as long as you aren't always expecting to max it out.
Always ran like [crap] for me with amd cards though.
Please watch the language in the technical forums.

Yeah, the blb is my only gripe about this display. Its noticeable at night in games. And its a yellow tint which makes it more annoying.
Still, I like the aspect ratio so much that I couldn't return it over it.
These displays have quite a bit of backlight bleed.
I've had two since I had to exchange one for a stuck pixel and a couple of dead pixels. That said his cell phone pic isn't representative of what it looks like in person. Its way overexposed. Still, the two that I have have more corner blb...
No, thats just the display skipping frames. If you choose custom aspect resolution instead of native in the nvidia control panel you should be able to use 32bit. It'll still skip frames....
There seems to be two different issues. One the crazy throttling that some people are seeing, like myself.
The other is any fan speed above something like 68% causing the card to downclock one bin. That one appears to be happening on GTX680 as well. So thats just a mild driver issue that I'm...
No, mine throttles down to just over 1ghz at my max stable oc in some games. I've seen vcore throttle down to just over 1v for no reason. Something is clearly wrong with Titan. There are a lot of people on ocn reporting the same behavior.
I didn't come here to ask for assistance or to have anyone help troubleshoot. I can do that on my own and when I do overclock I perform very rigorous stress testing unlike most people.
I made this thread to make people aware of an issue. You can read the Guru3d thread that I liked to so you can...
Thats if you can find a full cover block.
I kind of have my doubts that an over-engineered pcb would make much of a difference for overclocking without the ability to adjust core voltage.
I would mostly be putting this monster on water for silence. Although cooler temps might help with...
Finally an AMD marketing rep that understands their consumer. They should have had someone on the forums years ago.
Quite frankly I think that they should be active on their own forum like Nvidia. It would keep complaints mostly confined to one forum and might help with bug tracking.
Still...
Even with this issue, I'm still having a smoother experience than I had with Kepler. I had a lot of performance issues with GTX670. Although, my issues didn't seem to be as common as the issues that AMD is having.
Also, alot of people see artifacts at desktop. People refer to it as a desktop...
You do understand that AMD has acknowledged this exact issue? Its a driver issue. Those flashing black artifacts in COD BO, that has nothing to do with an overclock.
Did you even look at the four month old thread on Guru3d that I liked to? It'll answer a ton of your questions.
Read the post...
@fixbsod, It sounds like you are describing zfighting. I don't think that is normally caused by drivers. I've never noticed it more or less with amd or nvidia.
He is right though.
They aren't, if you think that is the case then you're just turning a blind eye to the issue. I don't...
No thats a different issue sadly. Also AFAIK 13.1 is just 12.11b11 with a whql signature.
I was wondering why I never had an issue in that game. I was using 12.8 when I played it.
I guarantee that you aren't alone. I'm sure that other people have sent their card in for an rma over this issue.
I know that I sent in a card for the desktop flicker issue. I can live with that one.
Still, I don't understand how so many sites can test Skyrim yet not one reviewer picks up on...
I don't know how this isn't getting more attention. I've been a 7950 owner for a few months now. I've noticed those frame latency issues that people are all up in arms over in one game (Stalker Clear Sky). Even then there is a work around, a framerate cap which I generally use anyways.
The...
I'm really liking my Xigmatek Elysium. It can fit a 60mm 420 in the roof with fans in push pull and an 80mm 240 or even 360 in the front with fans in push pull. The case has a metric crap ton of room to work in.
12w per channel is pretty low. You won't be running all 3 bottom fans off of one channel like I did with a lamptron fc4. I prefer to have all like fans off of the same channel but thats just me.
