You make a good point and normally I'm in the second group on this kind of thinking. Good power supplies are not that expensive so I think it makes good sense to not take a chance. I'm going to just get new PS that will be good for another 5 years at least. Thanks a bunch for your ideas.

Kingston SSD V300

Have tried multiple cables. Have not really checked pins in port that well. That's next step if I can't get a wireless connection going. I reserved a range of static addresses in my router and assigned a static addresses in the printer within that range. Is that what you mean?

I agree, but the problem gets more complicated. I have an issue with the ethernet port on the printer. The male connector is not making good connection. It's either the small finger connectors in the port, or a bad solder joint on the board. I have to hold pressure against the ethernet plug...

URGENT!! Can I put cat6 connectors onto cat7 cable?

Well, the other end will be the cameras. Since there is no movement once installed, I think it's common practice to just put an RJ45 on the end of the solid CAT and go into the camera port. I will definitely use the pre-made stranded at the switch.

OK, but it doesn't affect performance, right?? I've pulled very little CAT cable but I've always viewed it as other wiring in that the more the splices or connectors, the more the chance for problems. One thing for sure, the keystone connectors make the installation look better.
