Image Quality: 5500 vs Geforce vs Radeon

I have a 64 MB Radeon VIVO and a 32 MB Geforce 2 GTS. The 2d on the Geforce sucks. The Radeon has awesome visual quality.

Voodoo II with P200 MMX?

Well, running under Windows NT server might be the problem. How much RAM is in the machine? I wouldn't even attempt to game under NT being the hog that it is without at least 128 MBs...

Why are Elsa Cards so expensive?

Could be that Elsa cards have a 6 year warranty - 'course, not like anybody wants to keep a video card that long :)

What's better? GeForce 2 Ultra or the new ATI Radeon?

Ben is right that if you are running a W2K gaming rig you would be better off with a Geforce, but if you are running a multimedia video capture/gaming rig, the Radeon has no equal. Plus, and I think even Ben may agree with me here, for general surfing/spreadsheet editing/ 2D, the Radeon's only...

I knew nothing before now...

Y overclock??

Eug, I can't agree more..a cheap motherboard will kill you far quicker than a cheap processor. The inventor's of PC Chips motherboards should be executed.

Now there's a reason to install Linux for gamers!

Man, oh man, if ONLY they would fix it in Windows...I have a Savage 4 and even though it was a piece of crap, those compressed textures looked SWEET in UT. If only it would work with my Radeon or my Geforce... :(

Are Kingston and PNY good brands for 128MB DIMM PC133 sdram?
