dating software Good info! I used to have a Mac and found it pretty picky in turms of hardware and software. I'm glad I finally bought a Gateway machine instead. It's a drag having to have Apple approval on apps.

Has anyone gone from a Windows 7 machine to an Apple and thought OMG...

I switched from a Windows machine to a Mac at work and I thought "OMG I cant believe anybody can get any work done on one of these slow, costly things!" At home I have a fast Windows 7 machine and I'm very happy with it.

2canSam your approach seems like a smart one, keeping your account tied to an expired credit card. With all the fancy footwork that Paypal and the banks do these days you really have to juggle things so that you don't get hosed. I'm glad that it's working for you.

Keyboard that will reconize more than 2 keys at a time

The key above 2-3 should be F1 but the key looks like F8 and it's too far to the right? I don't understand why companies think it's fair game to move keys around.. Other than the maniacal hope that people will become used to that layout and forced to remain with that company?

Are you on dial-up? I tried to see where the loading status is getting displayed but I can't find a page that doesn't load instantly.. ;) I love the new clean look.. Just that top title bar remains as wasted space.. At this point they have caught up to Opera for UI and aren't far from Chrome...

Did you ever run any preview/demos of CS4 with that large format printer? My guess is that if you can still find a preview/demo copy anywhere online (olderversion.com?) you'll find that it works like a champ and that it's just CS5. I'm only saying that because I had the same problem with JPEG...

Help me get my files back.

Used another primary drive and set your other drive to slave. You should be able to copy any important data and save it. That is the only way to go. Good luck.
