I'm not sure you're understanding. It would take 50 of those bulbs on a card to even use 1 watt of power. And it looks like most cards have like what, 5? 8? maybe 15 of em? 15 would be 0.3 watts used. Really, LED's or not should not even remotely be anything that you consider in a video card...

It depends on the system. If you use a 950 Pro on Z97 / Haswell system, I think it will limit you to one video card (No SLI), and even then will drop the single video card down to 8x. I think if you try and use 950 with SLI on two video cards it will disable all of the onboard sata ports and...

Is anyone else completely under-whelmed by the 1080 performance? I don't know what I was expecting but I sure expected a heck of a lot more than what we got. And the overclocks are misreable.. most of the cards only managing +120 to +170 Mhz OC? I guess the days of GTX 960's and 970's doing...

Just to clear it up for you. If you want haswell for some reason, yes haswell has full PCIE-16x-3.0 for the entire GTX 1070 line. For that matter, so does Z68 systems, And P67 systems. With a PCIE 3.0 CPU. All 3 systems will also run PCIE-3.0 8x-8x for SLI too.

It's an early pre-release non-review sample for computex show. It's only there to run benchmarks at it's defined default speeds and/or games at default speeds and that's all. No voltage control that works, power limit (as said) is capped at +7%, etc, etc. Probably doesn't have a final bios on it...

I think you haven't read any of the reviews posted on the previous page then. The default founders edition is s--- and junk and if you see these other reviews that do a "Default test" of just running it without manually increasing the fan for it, then it's going to score low and look less...

As far as I'm aware, -NO ONE- can obtain the new high bandwidth bridges, yet.. as of writing this message. They're not sold yet, reviewers do not have copies either. So all SLI results posted online of the 1080's right now are all using the old bridges.
