some vmware products don't allow to change VMs disks into ide ones.
this should help: http://download3.vmware.com/software/vmscsi-1.2.0.4.flp
insert it into your virtual floppy, press F6 and load the scsi drivers.
btw. use KVM, it's much faster than vmware and vbox ;)
then reread them.
yeah? what's wrong with the brakes? they brake as they should. the only thing that differs from a non-hybrid car is the feel of the brake pedal. so what are you trying to tell me?

us-americans are really dumber than i thought :(
so you believe:
- 19 us-americans were killed in 10 years because of a stuck gaspedal in a toyota?
you realize that you just have to step on the brake if that happens and the car will stop (physical fact)? you realize the US is the only state...
my grandfather bought a new vw lupo because his 25 year old vw kaefer (old beetle) never had a big problem (because it was in fact a pretty good car) (but that proves what he knows about modern cars - nothing)
he drove 10.000km in 4 years and got an engine failure ...
yeah, the same reason why people are voting for george w. bush or silvio (duce) berlusconi. because they are stupid ;) (and their father and granfather drove VWs in the third reich, it's like a heritage)
well. i live in austria where ~40-50% of all cars are from the great VAG company. i know quite a lot of vw/audi/seat/skoda owners. i would rather get an alfa romeo than a VW. it'll break down too, but at least it doesn't look like a car made for a boring, 80 year old virgin.
want to hear...

ok maybe US mx5s are soft as hell, but i can assure you, an european mx5 drives circles around a gti (in terms of grip)
1.05G lateral g with normal summer tires on a normal street (with a stock mx5 nc)
try to beat that in any VW :P
the queue depth is not "assigned" in any way, it's just how many commands are outstanding on your storage subsystem
meaning -> the more random IO -> the higher the queue
the slower your Storage -> the higher your queue
now you got a ssd which is fast as hell on random IOs (because of low access...
i did drive quattros in the snow, and they all are understeering as normal fwd cars
i didn't drive the latest A4 though
but i think it's nose weighted as hell like every other VW
i wouldn't buy an audi at all, but if i had to decide between those 2 cars i would go with the A5
the A4 is massively understeering when driven enthusiastic. the a5 is a bit better since the quattro system has a different torque distribution (more torque to the read wheels). but both of them are...
1-2 is the normal queue depth for a single user system, especially on a SSD
higher queue depth is only reached on server systems when multiple processes are creating much workload.
ssds are much faster than sas drives for almost everything
i had 3 15krpm sas drives on an intel raid controller and they were much slower than a single OCZ Vertex (speaking for general windows and game loading times)
now i got 8 ocz vertex on an intel sas controller. perfect setup to wipe...
wrong
people who got the money for a supercar usually don't care about performance figures and geekyness. all they are intrested in are good looks and a cool image/badge.
people who like the LF-A (myself included) are (car)geeks who would buy one, but will never have the money to do so...
the car is great but it has a big problem
why would anyone spend so much money on a supercar with the lexus badge? almost everyone would rather go for a ferrari, aston martin maybe pagani, koenigsegg, maserati
