I did a fresh clean install of Windows 10 in an Envy 17 notebook. After rebooting a couple of times, but before installing any HP drivers, I found that the Device Manager did not present any yellow question marks, unlike it used to do in my past win 7 installations.

All of them tell the same: read @ 120 MB/sec and write @ 75 MB/sec.

I have a HP DV9000 with an Intel G2 SSD running Win XP SP2 after making all Microsoft updates and installing the all I programs I use. It is partitioned as 55 GB to XP and 25 GB to Slackware linux.
Performance is shit (just after boot)...
