Battlefield 1 released!

I have an xbox one controller plugged in while playing specifically for aircraft. KB+M works fine on the ground, then when I fly I grab the controller. Controller is the only way to fly in this game - I am top 1% in bombers and top 3% pilot.

Yeah, sorry. It was a black friday deal. There is an Asus going in and out of stock for $185 AR AC though. EDIT:The asus is available for auto-notify and the MSI has apparently been in and out of stock as well. I used coupon code VGABLKNOV for 10% off, not sure if it still works

If you think that passing through audio via HDMI is a possibility in the future, a cheap 5000 series is your best bet as it can utilize all the latest audio formats (lossless bitstreaming), aka Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD. Otherwise just get whatever is cheaper (nvidia 200 series or up, ati 5000...

Help! 4890 vs 5770 --> =5850

Quick question regarding the 5850, didn't think it needed a new thread, I have an OCZ 600w modular PSU that has 1 6pin and 1 8pin PCIe connectors. I just realized that the 8pin doesn't fit with the reference cooler. Is using the molex->6pin just as good? thanks!

Thanks for all the help guys, I just bit the bullet though and got a xfx 5850 for $275. Figure with this my computer will not need an upgrade for ~2 years (at least I hope!).

Would it be worth it to just get a xfx 5850 for $285? Is the extra money worth the jump in performance? I figure at this point if i got the 4890 I would spend the difference on a power supply anyways.

Thanks for the replies guys. I think I'm leaning more towards the 5770 at this point. Also res is 1920x1200, play a lot of company of heroes, Batman: AA, maybe some starcraft, crysis.

Can I upgrade the stock CPU in HP computer?

Yes, you can upgrade the CPU. I have a a1130n as well and I was in the same situation 10 months ago. Got a used 4600+ X2 for $30 locally, great upgrade. I would just make sure you have the latest BIOS, 3.47 from the HP website, easy update btw. Also went with a fresh install of windows 7 RC1...
