Which benchmarks for AutoCAD, Inventor, Bridge/ACR

I do 2D in AutoCAD, 3D in Inventor, and lots of raw image conversion in Bridge/ACR/Photoshop. Couldn't care less about gaming if I tried. Which benchmarks are the most meaningful to me? I don't mind going to other sites if Anandtech's reviews don't include what I need.

I'm just gonna say it - I like V a little better. I've wanted City-States since II, hexes are just better, infinite unit stacks were the worst (although I wish V would let you stack a little - 2 or 3 units), I like the religion system better... Man, the system requirements are crazy, though...

Non-native resolutions and hardware scalers

I love having a 30" monitor but I am too blind to use the native 2560x1600 resolution. I have a Dell 3007 which I've read doesn't have a hardware scaler. It's disturbingly blurry at 1920x1200. Will this problem be much less severe with newer monitors that do have a hardware scaler?

That's exactly what I want. So far we've been getting the "same price (or even higher), better performance" next-gen SSDs. "Same performance, better price" side of Moore's law is the side I prefer. I'm cheap.

Even 30" 2560 is too small I'm going freaking blind trying to read my screen even at the 150% zoom mode. I think 27" 2560 would actually make your eyes burst into flames. I'd pay so much money for 27" 1920x1200...

P8P67 firmware: 1003 or 1053

One of two P8P67 Pro's I've bought refused to flash either, told me neither was a BIOS file. The other flashed the exact same files off the exact same drive and has been running on 1053 no problem. So YMMV.

No, Windows loads properly, but after a short while locks up. I've given those suggestions a try, no luck. PSU's a Corsair AX750, definitely not underpowered. I did rule out GPU and SSD by running them successfully in another system. And I've tried all my RAM sticks individually with no luck...
