VMWare equivalant of Citrix?

I don't really know what kind of product line of Citrix you meant, but as far as I know they are good in "screen scrapping" product line - very useful if company/org want to centralized their server and everybody in organization using thin client, no need to install any application, just citrix...

Anybody totally not happy with Lenovo? (at work)

Lenovo has two product line: Ideapad and Thinkpad. Thinkpad continuous IBM product, and I think it's still one of the best (for work), very durable.

Installing too many Antivirus licenses

Installing license software that against principle's user agreement technically is illegal. Basically its no different than using illegal.

CCleaner Registry Cleaner: Safe?

I use it at least once a month, because I always want to try a new software and then uninstall it. I never have a problem with it. I use it my Windows 7 notebook and PC

Avast (free)

Avast free for real time protection + Malwarebytes for additional scanning. It's a good combination. Don't forget to add Firewall.

you have to consider lifetime and price aftermarket battery compere to lifetime and price aftermarket new battery. All battery have max charging cycles, for every time you charge it is deducted. You can't be sure how many charging cycles already in use and how many left. You can get aftermarket...

A modern laptop with no webcam

agree, why not just disable the web cam, You have wider option. You shouldn't sacrifice other spec just because of a web cam.

yea, it is a monitor with additional sensor on lcd surface. the sensor have a lifetime, after a while it will be less sensitive.

How many of these antivirus/malware programs should I keep running?

I only have 1 each on resident: 1 for anti virus - avast 1 for spyware remover - spyware blaster 1 firewall - comodo + malwarebytes - free only on demand These should be enough.
