New PC, won't POST

Just built a new PC this afternoon, and I can't get it to POST. When I turn it on it powers up and all the fans start spinning, but I get no video. I also get no beeps from the system speaker (it's supposed to beep once if everything is ok, and one short and then three long if it can't detect...

Lan Gear DA BOX?

Anyone have any first hand info on this case? I know it's brand new, but I can't seem to find any info on it other than what's on their official site. It seems like the perfect case for my needs, but I hate buying something without reading reviews first.

790X vs 785G

790X vs 785G

One difference I didn't notice until now is that the 790X based DFI board has two PCIe x16 slots so could support two video cards, where the 785G based Gigabyte board only has one. I don't have any immediate plans to buy two graphics cards, but it would be nice to know I could if I wanted to.

Intel X25-V vs OCZ Vertex Turbo?

I think I've settled on one Intel X25-M 80GB drive instead of either of those two. It's cheaper than buying two of either of those.

Really? Everything I read said the 790X still had a better performing iGPU, with the only advantage of the 780G's iGPU being that it supported DirectX 10.1. iGPU aside however, would there be any other performance differences?

This may be a stupid question, but...

The Silverstone GD05B case has a 120mm filtered opening below where the PSU goes that is designed to line up with a PSU fan and suck cold air in from the outside to cool the PSU. Would there be any issue if the PSU I'm planning on getting has a 135mm fan instead of a 120mm one? Obviously the...

Antec NSK2480 vs Silverstone GD05B?

I thought about adding a blu-ray player, but we already have a ps3 to watch blu-rays on and honestly probably would continue to use that even if I did put a blu-ray player in the HTPC. Only reason I'd want a blu-ray player in the PC is to rip movies, and I honestly don't see myself doing that...

Stock Phenom II X4 965 HSU noise comparison

It seems as though I will be forced to get an aftermarket cooler after all. With an optical drive installed in a Silverstone GD05 case, there is a maximum of 70mm clearance for a HSU. I'm fairly certain the stock cooler is taller than that.

Looking for quiet CPU cooler less than 70mm in height

Would this overpower a 380w PSU?

It will be an HTPC primarily since it will be hooked up to my TV, though I will play games on it occasionally since it will also be my only PC. I wanted to build something that would be powerful enough that it would be able to play games if I wanted, but still not break the bank.

Wow, the newegg one must REALLY overestimate. The antec one only calculated I needed around 330W.

I found a "Power Supply Calculator" on NewEgg's website, and after plugging in the parts I plan on getting, it's saying I would need a 427W PSU after installing the dedicated graphics card. Anyone know how accurate that calculator is?
