    It's for historical accuracy, actually. All soldiers of the Wehrmacht wore it. In fact, after the Anschluss, the Austrian army was integrated into the Wehrmacht, and the new national emblem was sewn onto Austrian uniforms. It's not really about the Nazi chic - I am a stickler for accuracy.
