    Windows 7 home premium because I use Windows Media Center extensively. I'm getting tired of people pretending there is no reason to keep Windows 7. In this case, Windows 10 decidedly has at least one less feature.

    Since it is most likely that your Samsung "monitor" will not go to sleep like a normal computer monitor, you should turn off this option in your power settings. This is how I use my Seiki 39" 4K, turn off all monitor sleep options and use the TV remote to turn the thing on and off. No problem.
