I have DELETED the whole original post. I have talked to DaveB3D and apologized. I really didn't mean any harm but I guess it was a cheap shot. I am sorry. I hope all those people calling me names will atleast realize that I am making an effort to end this thread and be cool.

Please tell me what rules I have broken? Is there a rule about writing funny little stories? There are atleast 4 other threads going on right now where people are calling each names and you guys are picking on my little story? Get over it please.

Is Dave an engineer? I thought he was just a 3DFX employee (of some capacity) going around and hyping 3DFX like so many other 3dfx employees seem to be doing lately. I didn't know he was an engineer. I never even mentioned him. Get over it.

No Hans, that's not what I meant. I'm younger than you by the way. I was just saying that when he claims to be working in the industry for such a long time, you have to keep in perspetive what a long time really means at our age.

NV20 performance benchmarks...

I look forward to NV20 too, but those guys have the wrong date I think. Everything Nvidia has said is that it will launch Spring 2001 with an April-May release. I think Anand even reported on this. So that's still 4-5 months away.

1) Dave is a 3dfx puppet. He says what they TELL him to say. 2) Despite his use of fancy words sometimes, he has little knowledge of how things really work with video cards. This has been proven sooooooooo many times it's getting to be rather pitiful. He only cuts & pastes from the 3dfx...

Does the Radeon really have better 2D than the GTS?

Yes the radeon card is better than the geforce cards for 2d. So are the voodoo5 cards. So are the matrox cards. Actually every card out there is better than the geforce 2d because it is so low quality 2d.
